Happy Mother's Day to All
Happy Mother's Day to all the mommies. To the new mother, Priscilla, whom I went to see on Thursday. Baby Noah arrived this past Tuesday and doesn't she look glorious?! Happy Mother's Day to Sarah, the soon to be mother, that I had lunch with on Friday at the new restaurant Canopy-YUM. Happy Mother's Day to my mother, who my sisters, Guen, my dad, Ryan and Tootie's boyfriend Chad had dinner with at County LIne BBQ. Happy Mother's day to me, I love you Guen!

5 Days Off in a Row!!!
I have been enjoying my 5 days off in a row and now I don't wanna go back to work, because I got into a routine with my Guenie and I don't wanna stop. It consisted of waking up in the morning, feeding, getting dressed, going for a walk, coming back home for a morning nap, waking up for lunch, playing in play pen while I got stuff done around the house, going down for an afternoon nap, waking up for 330pm feed, reading, fixing dinner, sitting outside on our rocker out on the front porch waiting for Daddy to come home, taking a bath, Daddy feeding you and going to bed. That is pretty much our routine these past few days, except for Saturday we went and walked in the March of Dimes walk in the Woodlands, Sunday we went to church, Monday we had lunch at my parents house. Other than a few errands being run, that was the extent of my 5 days off. Nothing too exciting. This weekend I gave Guen a sippy cup for the first time and she took to it like a moth to a flame. She loves water! See pics from our days off together below.

My Little Easter Bunny
It seems like my posts get further and further apart. I am not doing too well on keeping up with this blog but here goes. So Ryan officially started back to work after being on paternity leave for 3 months. Ryan asked me several times the night before going back to work if he really HAD to go back to work and maybe he should be a stay at home daddy. Although I would love to do that, when we have free daycare (my parents), we don't have an excuse why we both of us should not be working.
On Saturday, Tootie and Chad and my mom babysat Guen because Ryan and I had to work. My dad was on a cruise outta Florida with his family. Tootie and Chad took some cute photos of Guen. This Easter I had to work but Ryan dressed her in her Easter green dress and took pictures by her Easter basket before going to church so I could see what she looked like.
This weekend Ryan are off for 3 days. We have not done much except get some errands done and hang out as a family. Hope you had a great weekend. Liz

Beautiful Week
This week was fabulous. I had off Wed, Thurs, and Friday. I had fun with Sarah picking out fabrics at High Fashion Home so she can make her bedding for babygirl Homer that is coming this July. I wish I knew how to sew because that store makes me want to be creative. Too bad I am also a little busy raising a 5 month old. Thursday Ryan and I went to the Woodlands and had lunch outside and went to the new Hubble and Hudson market/bistro. I wanna live in that store. It appeals to me with the beautiful flowers, yummy looking food, and all the fresh veggie, organic meat, different foods, I feel like I need to cook/eat/fill my pots with flowers RIGHT NOW. Friday I met Jennifer for some girl time. My sister was supposed to come too but got stuck in the DPS line to renew her license and had to commit after waiting 3 hours. It was great to see Jennifer, you looked so pretty as always. These days were also filled with long walks with Guen and trips to the park to swing.

Three Days Off
This Saturday, Sunday and Monday I had off and was I busy. Saturday, I went to my sister-in-law's baby shower at noon. Right after that I went home grabbed Guen and we headed into the medical center to my work. My primary baby that I have taken care of for 9 months was finally going home. For the big day, myself and some other primary nurses threw baby Brandon a going home party for him and his parents. I took Guen with me so my coworkers could see her. After the party at work, I went straight to the BJ's where I met Ryan, my parents, and my sister Missy who was in town to see my parents' new house. We had dinner and called it a night. Sunday we got up and went to church. Right after church we came home to change and then headed over to my parents' house where my sister Tootie and her boyfriend Chad met us for a big Superbowl late lunch. We had so much food and we watched the game. Guen was melting down around halftime so we took off. Today, Ryan went to workout and we all went to the grocery store. I came home and made tons of food for this week for us to eat since I will be working 3 days in a row starting tomorrow. This past week, Guen did her first rolling over. Guen is hollerin', gotta go bathe her.
